We are looking for a Manager to join our experienced Senior Management Team here at The Village Restaurant & Blakemere Village Social, with in excess of 50 staff across our two sites (both located at Blakemere), we are looking for an individual with proven leadership skills and impeccable communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a thirst for knowledge and a desire to progress, to join our growing team.

Managers are critical to our business - ensuring that our customers have a first-class dining experience and overseeing an effective and strong team.

The role would include, but is not limited to:

• Day-to-day running of the restaurant and leading shifts

• Ensuring our customers receive a high level of service

• Creating rotas

• Cash handling and financial reporting

• Assisting with the recruitment and training of staff

• Liaising with the Kitchen Manager to ensure and meet our high standards

• Working alongside our other Managers and Supervisors collaboratively

• Carrying out daily checks on cleanliness within the restaurant

• Placing orders with suppliers

• Keeping track of stock levels

• Assisting the Directors with the growing of the business

Our ideal candidate:

• A strong and motivated team leader

• Relevant industry and management experience is essential (at least previous experience as a Supervisor)

• Sound knowledge of restaurant operations

• Excellent communication skills

• Proven ability to strive for outstanding customer service

• A personal licence holder is desirable, although not essential
